HYPER CURRENT
超現代映畫製作
Established in 2024 in Taiwan, HYPER CURRENT (超現代映畫製作有限公司) is a company composed of creative technologists and storytellers. From science fiction to prototypes, we aim to develop Taiwanese futurism: Taiwan-centered narratives told through artificial intelligence and immersive technology, bringing tomorrow's ideas to life using today's technology.
HYPER CURRENT is currently in production on its first major commission under contract as the digital production company for the Vision Base Lab at Shih Chien University. SILIQ is a 360 VR film about AI, produced with AI, and through the eyes of AI, conveying speculative fiction from the perspective of an autonomous drone. The narrative imagines the future of the Taiwan chip industry and AI amidst the geopolitical tensions of the US-China chip cold war. Vision Base USC received a MOC XR grant and NVIDIA sponsorship for SILIQ.
